2021 Breeding season has begun!

The first pairings of the year have started with many locks observed already. With a number of our favorite species and a couple of new ones, this season promises to be another banger. The Florida kingsnakes are typically the most eager to get going. Stay tuned for more species updates!

We sneaked a peek after the lights went out to find our Louisiana Pinesnakes locked in the lovers’ embrace.

A few other honorable mentions would be a pair of Ptyas mucosa, cave-dwelling ratsnakes, speckled kings, and a locality of eastern kingsnakes. Fingers crossed for the rest of the pairings! Wish us luck! šŸ˜€
